Every Marvel movie released to-date has at least one extra scene tossed into the ending credits. Sometimes it appears in the middle, sometimes at the end, but you can usually count on seeing some sort of sneak peek into the future of the MCU, or some sort of funny gag. It’s sort of expected now.
Technically, Incredibles 2 isn’t a Marvel movie, as it was created by Pixar. But, it’s still a Disney-owned superhero movie which means fans are curious as to whether or not it will contain an end-credits scene. The simple answer:
No, Incredibles 2 does not have an end-credits or mid-credits scene.
There’s no extra scene that teases a potential third film, no fun additional sequence, no gags, nothing. There are, however, some fun songs that play during the credits. Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl and Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) each get their own theme song that plays while the credits roll. So maybe that’s worth staying for.
Incredibles 2 hits theaters June 15. The highly anticipated sequel, which releases 14 years after the original, currently sits at an impressive 95% on Rotten Tomatoes with 123 “Fresh” ratings and just 7 “Rotten.” The critical consensus reads:
Incredibles 2 reunites Pixar’s family crimefighting team for a long-awaited follow-up that may not quite live up to the original, but comes close enough to earn its name.
