Disney and Lucasfilm have debuted a new trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story, giving fans a more in-depth look at the upcoming solo film about the origins of the legendary smuggler.
The trailer features a ton of fresh footage of Alden Ehrenreich as he steps into the iconic role of a young Han Solo, originally played by Harrison Ford. He’s got some big boots to fill and while he might not be an exact impersonation of Harrison Ford, Ehrenreich seems to have that same scoundrel swagger that we’ve grown to love about Han.
The trailer also does a much better job of spotlighting the star-studded supporting cast, which includes Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, and Donald Golove, among others. And yes, we do get quite a few scenes teasing the dynamic duo of Han and Chewie, including some pretty humorous dialogue between the two that is reminiscent of the original trilogy.
Be sure to check out the action-packed trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story and get ready for its worldwide debut on May 25th.
